My Experience With Alps Goodness Charcoal Detoxifying Face Mask

Colour, Consistency, Fragrance & Texture

The face mask is greyish in colour and has a thick consistency. It has a citrusy fragrance and is smooth in texture. Being smooth in texture, it glides and spreads easily on the skin. As per the usage directions, I applied a generous amount to my face and kept it for 10-15 minutes. The mask doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and is required in small quantity to cover the whole face. The mask didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all and moreover, it was quite easy to rinse it off. You really don’t need to rub your skin hard to get this mask off.

How Effective Is The Face Mask?

After using the mask, my skin was looking clean and refreshed. This mask didn’t cause any breakouts also. I have a combination skin type and so I have to keep using activated charcoal masks to keep my skin free from impurities which can further prevent acne formation. The mask effectively unclogged my pores and removed excess oil from my skin. It was also effective in drawing out dirt and impurities which don’t get removed with normal cleansing.

Post usage, my skin was looking soft and supple. I was feeling so good to touch my cheeks as these were buttery soft. My face was looking clearer and brighter. The best part is that the mask didn’t dry out the skin so, even dry skin beauties can also use this mask. The way this mask cleans the skin is really amazing so I think it is an ideal mask for those who travel every day and their skin faces a lot of pollution. The regular use of this mask will definitely help them in making their skin clean and can also remove tan to some extent. However, I would suggest you apply this mask, not more than twice in a week else it will make your skin dry. The glow that this mask gives stays for around two days only.

Overall, I really liked Alps Goodness Detoxifying Charcoal Face Mask. It really does its job effectively and is quite affordable and doesn’t leave a big hole in the pocket.
