How To Use?

Packaging

The mascara comes in a black coloured jumbo plastic tube. It comes with two caps – one cap holds the thicker brush and the other one holds the small thin brush. On the caps are mentioned step 1 and step 2 that will help you to understand the usage directions that are mentioned on the product itself. The packaging looks quite similar to the Rimmel London Glam’Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara. The mascara comes encased in a peach and green coloured cardboard box on which some images of roses and a woman’s face can be seen. The outer box bears some product-related details on it. However, the packaging is not travel-friendly because it is not leak-proof and the product gets accumulated all around cap 1 (refer to the image provided below) that can spoil your things and hands as well.

My Experience With Biotique Natural Makeup Diva Dreams Two In One Mascara

Now, to get voluminous, fat and fluffy lashes, it is important for the brush to be thick with denser bristles. The good part is that this mascara fulfills that criteria. The mascara has a thick and buildable formula that doesn’t clump. Make sure to go for two coatings only and that too when the first coat is still a bit wet to avoid it getting flaky. The mascara is jet black in colour and is quite pigmented.

The volume brush works great for me and adds enough volume to my lashes. The brush given under the cap 2 is thin and I find it good for my bottom lashes. It helps in defining and adding length to my lashes. However, the mascara takes a little longer to get dry. One thing that I observed is that when I use volume step first and then use step 2, I love the results. If you are planning to use only step 2 then this is not going to give you satisfying results.

Biotique Natural Makeup Diva Dreams Two In One Mascara claims to be smudge-free however, it is not the case. If you have a habit of touching or rubbing your eyelashes, the mascara will spread all-around your eyes. Moreover, it is not waterproof and comes off easily on coming in contact with water. I stay in Mumbai and I cannot use this mascara during monsoon season. I hope you can understand what I am trying to convey….

Overall, I have some mixed feelings about this mascara. I appreciate the fact it is 100% organic but the complete ingredient list is missing. Next thing is that I liked the way it helps in giving length and volume to my eyelashes but at the same time, it is not smudge-proof and waterproof. As I am a blogger and I sit in front of a computer for many hours and have the habit of rubbing my eyes so, I always look for mascara which is smudge-proof and this mascara doesn’t fulfill that criteria. So, if you are like me, then this product is not for you otherwise, you can definitely go for it to get nice, voluminous lashes.
