Packaging

Biotique Natural Makeup Starkissed Moist Matte Lipstick comes in a light pink coloured plastic casing. The packaging looks quite similar to Biotique Natural Makeup Magicolor Lipstick. However, it is difficult to identify the shade so, you need to open the cap. At the base of the lipstick is given a sticker on which shade name and number are mentioned however, it is not colour coded. The lipstick comes encased in an attractive light blue and green coloured cardboard box on which some images of roses and woman’s face can be seen. Overall, the packaging looks quite colourful, nice and travel-friendly.

My Experience With Biotique Natural Makeup Starkissed Moist Matte Lipstick

I have this lipstick in the shade You Better Pout O27 which is a beautiful orange shade. I purposely selected this colour as I never ever dare to wear it thinking it will not suit my wheatish skin tone but the shade really suited me well. Please refer to the image provided to get a clearer picture of the shade.

The lipstick has a smooth texture and glides easily on the lips without any tugging. Unlike Biotique Natural Makeup Magicolor Lipstick, it has a mild fragrance that is not overpowering and headache-inducing and vanishes after some time so, it will not bother sensitive noses.

Biotique Natural Makeup Starkissed Moist Matte Lipstick – You Better Pout O27 is richly pigmented and offers good colour pay-off. One swipe is enough to get an opaque colour on the lips. The lipstick claims to have a non-drying formula so, I deliberately didn’t apply any lip balm before the application. The lipstick fulfills what it claims and doesn’t dry out the lips. It offers a moist matte or comfortable matte finish and doesn’t accentuate fine lips of the lips. Moreover, it is quite comfortable to wear.

Let’s talk about the staying power of the lipstick. It is not smudge-proof and transfers easily as well. With light snacks & beverages, the lipstick stays for 3-4 hours on my lips. However, it cannot survive meals and needs reapplication.

Overall, I liked this lipstick as it is 100% organic so is not harmful to lips, glides easily on the lips, richly pigmented, has a non-drying formula, offers comfortable moist matte finish, stays for a decent time and is quite affordable. Therefore, I would definitely recommend buying this lipstick.
