DermDoc Skin Renewal Face Wash with Mandelic Acid Review

Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing DermDoc Skin Renewal Face Wash with Mandelic Acid Review.

Mandelic acid is extracted from bitter almonds and is a type of Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that offer skincare benefits ranging from exfoliation to offering hydration and firmness to skin. In this world of skincare, it is a go-to anti-aging ingredient that helps in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has the ability to fade unwanted age spots, lighten skin and banish acne scars. Moreover, it has anti-bacterial properties that help in acne-treatment. One of the amazing mandelic acid benefits for skin is that it offers exfoliation thereby removing the dead skin cells. As a result, the skin looks quite smooth and reflects light better. So, this exfoliating action of mandelic acid helps in improving skin texture making it look bright. So, these are various benefits of mandelic acid for skin. My Experience With DermDoc Skin Renewal Face Wash with Mandelic Acid

Appearance Of DermDoc Skin Renewal Face Wash with Mandelic Acid
Appearance

The face wash has a little thick but flowy consistency and has a little tacky texture. It has a mild fragrance that I really liked and it vanishes after the application. The face wash contains a few yellow, blue and red coloured beads however, nothing about these beads is mentioned on the product. I think these are for the exfoliating purpose. However, on rubbing the face wash between the palms, these beads get dissolved easily. The Face wash doesn’t lather much but you need to work it with water to form lather and one pump is enough for the entire face.

Efficacy

One thing that I noticed about DermDoc Skin Renewal Face Wash is that it takes a little effort to rinse it off fully and you need to take some extra splashes of water on the face. However, it effectively cleans all the dirt, excess oil and impurities from the skin making it look clean and bright. The face wash really makes my complexion look brighter. I have combination/sensitive skin and this face wash worked well for me. However, I feel it can be a little drying for those having dry skin types.

Not So Good About DermDoc Skin Renewal Face Wash with Mandelic Acid

  • May not be suitable for dry skin type
  • Doesn’t get rinsed off easily

My Rating – 3.5/5
