How To Use?

Elle18 Lasting Glow Compact comes in a sturdy, glossy, black coloured rectangular case with curved ends. On opening the case, you will find a square mirror attached to the upper half which is a plus point as a compact without a mirror doesn’t solve the purpose of last moment touch-ups. It is provided with a puff applicator that is good enough for the application. The compact comes encased in a classic Elle 18 black coloured cardboard box that bears product-related details on its back. Overall, the packaging is not at all bulky and is easy to carry around.

My Experience With Elle18 Lasting Glow Compact

I have purchased the compact in the shade 02 Marble which is meant for fair to wheatish skin tones. The compact has a smooth and velvety texture. It spreads easily on the face and blends into the skin smoothly. It has a nice mild floral fragrance that vanishes after the application and doesn’t bother at all. The sponge applicator provided is quite soft and helps in a smooth hassle free application.

Elle18 Lasting Glow Compact offers light coverage and helps in covering light marks and dark circles around eyes to some extent. But if you are expecting a heavy coverage from this compact then, this product is not for you. The compact helps in making the skin look more even toned and also adds a natural glow. I have combination skin and this compact helps in removing the excess oil and shine and offers a mattifying effect to my face. The effect stays for around 4 hours and after that a touch-up is required. So, its claim of offering 9 hour oil-free makeup look is not true. However, at this price point, I feel it is offering a decent stay.

Overall, I really liked Elle18 Lasting Glow Compact as it offers light coverage, gives an oil-free makeup look, adds a natural glow to the skin, comes with in-built mirror for easy touch-ups, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and is available at an affordable price. The compact is apt for the daily use so, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
