Faces Canada has recently launched a new range of lipsticks called Weightless Matte Finish Lipsticks. The range is available in 15 shades at nykaa.com. I have purchased this lipstick in the shade Kissed Ruby 13 and here is its detailed review.

Packaging

The lipstick comes in a matte black casing and the branding is done on the cap in golden fonts. The cap shuts with a click sound and will not open on its own in the bag. The packaging looks quite similar to Mac Lipstick. The lipstick itself comes encased in a golden cardboard box with all the product-related details mentioned on it. The shade number and name is given on the outer cardboard box and at the base of the lipstick. Overall, the packaging looks very nice and is travel-friendly as well.

My Experience With Faces Canada Weightless Matte Finish Lipstick

I have this lipstick in the shade Kissed Ruby 13 which is a shade from maroon family. It is not that bold colour that you cannot wear in summers. Rather, it is quite subtle and will look amazing on every skin type.

Enriched with almond, jojoba and vitamin E oil, the lipstick glides easily on the lips without any tugging or pulling. The lipstick is quite pigmented and offers rich color pay-off. You need to give two swipes to get an opaque colour. The best part about the lipstick is that it doesn’t dry out the lips and keeps them soft and moisturized as claimed. It has mild butterscotch like fragrance that stays for some time after the application.

The lipstick also claims to offer powder matte finish however, it offers comfortable, velvety matte finish and feels very lightweight on the lips. So, the lipstick justifies the name weightless. The lipstick is not smudge-proof and it transfers as well. It stays for 3-4 hours on the lips without disturbing. However, after having a full meal, it fades from the inner corners of the lips but doesn’t get completely faded.

Overall, I really liked Faces Canada Weightless Matte Finish Lipstick as it glides smoothly, offers rich colour pay-off, doesn’t dry out the lips, quite lightweight & comfortable and is quite affordable as well.
