Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lip Color – Hibis-Kiss 085 Review.

Flower Beauty so generously sent over some goodies to me which include – Petal Pout Lip Color, Style Eyes Liquid Eyeliner and Flower Pots Powder Blush. All these goodies came packed in a beautiful rose gold coloured pouch. In this post, I will be talking about the lipstick. I believe the lipstick was launched at nykaa.com in the month of January 2019 and then I purchased this lipstick in the shade 045 Chestnut Kiss (cream) and have already shared my review on this so, you can check that post as well. I absolutely loved the formula of this lipstick and was really excited to try Hibis-Kiss 085 (matte) as this is in a matte finish. So, let’s see its detailed review.

Packaging

Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lip Color comes in a nice, pretty white packaging with a clear cap and rose gold tube. The clear cap allows easy identification of the shade. It holds the tube tightly and will not open on its own. The shade number, name and the finish that the lipstick offers whether cream or matte is mentioned at the base of the lipstick. However, the ingredient list is not given on the product. There is one thing that I liked about the packaging is that it is made flat from one side and the lipstick will not roll on its own if lying horizontally. Overall, I really liked this white and rose gold packaging. It looks quite luxurious and is travel-friendly too.

My Experience With Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lip Color – Hibis-Kiss 085

The shade Hibis-Kiss 085 is a coral pink shade which according to me will suit fair to medium skin tones but it can wash out the dusky skin tones. I am not that good in explaining the shades so, please refer to the image provided to get a better idea.

Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lip Color – Hibis-Kiss 085 glides easily on the lips and the application process is a breeze. It is richly-pigmented and one swipe is enough to get a nice look. If your lips are super-pigmented then, you only need two swipes to get an opaque colour. So, the lipstick fulfills its claims of offering intense colour pay-off.

Finish & Staying Power

The lipstick claims to offer matte finish however, I cannot say it is completely matte. It settles into a very comfortable velvety matte finish. If interested to get a matte look, you can always blot your lips with a tissue paper. The good part about the lipstick is that it doesn’t dry out the lips at all and doesn’t accentuate the fine lines as well.

The lipstick is not smudge-proof and it transfers easily onto the cups and glasses. The wear time is pretty decent and on my lips, it stays for 4-5 hours without disturbing. However, on having complete meals it fades but graciously without making any definite lines on my lips.

Overall, I am really impressed with the quality and formula of Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lip Color. It glides easily on the lips, offers rich colour pay-off, settles into a comfortable velvety matte finish, doesn’t dry out the lips and stays for a decent time. So, I would definitely recommend buying this lipstick and would also love to get my hands on some other shades as well.
