Hi Everyone!! Today, I am going to review Good Vibes Lemon Lip Balm.

Do you know that the skin on our lips is thinner than the skin on our face? If your lips dry and chapped then, you definitely need a lip balm to keep them well hydrated and moisturized. Nowadays, a lot of lip balms are available in a variety of flavours, scents, consistencies and colours that soothe your lips instantly. I am a big Lip balm lover and you will always find a lip balm on my bedside table, in my purse, in my travel kit etc. I keep trying new lip balms and I do have a good collection of these. This time, I purchased Good Vibes Lemon lip balm that has been launched recently at purplle.com and here is its review.

Good vibes has recently launched a new range of lip care products such as Lip Balms and Lip Scrubs. I have purchased both and have already shared my review on Good Vibes Lip Scrub in my previous post. The lip balm is launched in 5 variants.

Good Vibes Lemon lip balm comes in a cute, little, round, transparent plastic container with a white coloured screw cap. It comes encased in a lemon coloured cardboard packaging. The necessary details about the product are mentioned on the back side of the cardboard packaging. Overall, the packaging is quite sturdy, small in size, spill proof and thus, is travel-friendly. I wish if Good vibes could bring this lip balm in retractable tube packaging as tub packaging is not very hygienic.

My Experience With Good Vibes Lemon Lip Balm

Texture And Fragrance

The Good Vibes Lemon Lip Balm has a smooth texture and a creamy consistency. However, when I opened the container, I found some oil separated on the sides of the container so, I would recommend to keep it at a cool place. The lip balm appears slightly yellow in colour and has a mild citrusy fragrance that fades away after some time of application. So, it will not bother sensitive noses at all. The Good Vibes Lemon Lip Balm is not tinted and doesn’t give any colour to the lips.

Efficacy

Let’s see how effective is Good Vibes Lemon lip balm in keeping the lips moisturized and hydrated? Enriched with Vitamin E, beeswax and sunflower oil, the lip balm is quite effective. It keeps the lips hydrated, soft and supple. I make sure to apply this balm before hitting my bed at night and in the morning I wake up with soft and well-moisturized lips. This is the best thing that I like about lip balms. You need not to look into a mirror to apply these on your lips. Simply apply it as there are no worries about the colour seeping over your lips.

The lip balm also contains vitamin C that helps in removing tan from the lips with the regular usage. Fortunately, my lips are not tanned so, I can’t say much about that. But, my lips look more healthy, soft, supple and moisturized.

Staying Power

The lip balm has a nice staying power. Without any meals and drinks, it stays on for about 2-3 hours. Though, it can’t survive meals but can be re-applied whenever necessary to keep the lips moisturized.

Overall, I liked Good Vibes Lemon lip balm and would definitely recommend buying this.
