Insight Cosmetics is one such affordable brand that offers some beauty and makeup products. Another one such affordable brand is Pearl Eyeflax that offers some quite affordable beauty and makeup products such as lipsticks, eyeliner, nail enamels and bindis. Make sure to check these posts as well. Now, let’s see how this lipstick performed. I have purchased this lipstick in the shade A12 High Heels.

Packaging

Insight Cosmetics Matte Lipstick comes in a matte, maroon coloured plastic casing. The branding is done on the cap in white fonts and the colour coded sticker with shade name and number is given at the base of the lipstick. The lipstick comes wrapped in a light brown coloured cardboard casing that bears all the product-related on it. The cap shuts tightly so, it will not open in the bag on its own so, it is definitely travel-friendly.

My Experience With Insight Cosmetics Matte Lipstick 

The shade A12 High Heels is a beautiful brownish maroon shade that is perfect for occasions or parties and will suit all skin tones. The lipstick glides easily on the lips without any tugging or pulling. It is richly pigmented and delivers a good colour pay off in a single swipe. If you have pigmented lips then, you need to give only two swipes to get the opaque colour. It has mild butterscotch like fragrance that vanishes after the application so, it will not be bothering for the sensitive noses.

Insight Cosmetics MatteLipstickclaims to offer a soft matte finish and it fulfills what it claims. It settles into a comfortable soft matte finish and doesn’t dry out the lips. The lipstick is not smudge-proof and it transfers as well. With light snacks and beverages, it stays on my lips for 4-5 hours. However, after having a full meal, it fades from the inner corners of the lips and needs re-application.

Overall, I really liked Insight Cosmetics Matte Lipstick as it glides easily on the lips, richly pigmented, delivers good colour pay-off in a single stroke, offers a comfortable soft matte finish, doesn’t dry out lips and is quite affordable.
