As compared to other parts of the body, the skin on the back of our hands is very thin. It tends to dry out more than the other body parts as it has a few sebaceous glands. Applying a good hand cream not only helps in softening of hands but also helps in fighting signs of aging. I started using this cream recently and here is its detailed review.

Packaging

The cream comes in a plastic tub which is provided with a black coloured screw cap. An extra protective aluminium foil covering is provided beneath the cap to prevent product spillage. The tub is carrying all the necessary product information. However, the tub packaging is unhygienic as the chances of contamination are high due to repeated finger dipping.

Colour, Texture & Fragrance

The cream is white in colour however, I expected it to be a little yellowish in colour as it claims to contain saffron. It is creamy in texture and has a medium thick consistency which according to me is perfect for a hand cream. Such creams spread easily and get absorbed into the skin fast. The cream has a floral fragrance that lasts for some time.

My Experience With Khadi Herbal Milk & Saffron Hand Cream

The cream gets absorbed into the skin within 30 seconds. However, it is a bit greasy that generally happens with most hand creams. Usually, I apply this cream at night before going to bed as it doesn’t contain any SPF. The next morning, it gives me soft and smooth hands. The cream hydrates and moisturizes the skin effectively. I also apply it on the cuticles around my nails, elbows and knees to keep them softer. The cream helps in enhancing the appearance of dry and damaged skin. It keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized for long. During the daytime, my hands stay moisturised till the next hand wash. You don’t really need to apply the cream again and again but after washing hands reapplication is definitely required.

Overall, I really liked Khadi Herbal Milk & Saffron Hand Cream as it is completely herbal, absorbs into the skin quickly, nourishes and moisturizes hands and make them look soft and smooth, offers moisturisation for long and is perfect for dry and damaged skin.
