Though, I have tried chocolate, strawberry, lemon and mix fruit variants of lip balms but have not used Lychee variant yet. Now, let’s see how this lip balm worked for me.

Packaging Of Khadi Natural Herbal Lip Balm – Lychee

The lip balm comes in a cute, little, round, transparent plastic container with a golden coloured screw cap. An extra plastic cover is given beneath the cap to prevent product spillage. The lip balm comes encased in a reddish coloured cardboard packaging. All the necessary details about the product are mentioned on the cardboard packaging. However, you can find the manufacturing and expiry date on the lip balm as well. Overall, the packaging is quite sturdy, small in size, spill proof and thus, is travel-friendly. I wish if Khadi Natural could bring this lip balm in retractable tube packaging as tub packaging is not very hygienic.

My Experience With Khadi Natural Herbal Lip Balm – Lychee

Colour, Texture & Fragrance

The Lip Balm is smooth and light in texture and has a creamy consistency. The lip balm appears creamish in colour and has a mild lychee fragrance that stays for sometime after application. However, the fragrance is not headache inducing. The Lip Balm is not tinted and doesn’t give any colour to the lips.

Efficacy

Let’s see how effective the Khadi Natural Herbal Lip Balm – Lychee is in keeping the lips moisturized and hydrated? Enriched with Shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, jojoba oil, almond oil etc the lip balm performs efficiently. It is quite light in texture and spreads easily on the lips. Moreover, it doesn’t feel sticky on the lips. The lip balm moisturizes the lips instantly and makes them soft and supple. A small quantity is enough to cover the lips else it can make the skin around the lips appear oily.

The product claims to contain SPF making it apt to use during the daytime. It will protect the lips from the harmful rays of the sun. You can apply this lip balm before applying any matte lipstick that generally tends to make lips dry. As the lip balm is not tinted it doesn’t cause a change in colour of the lipstick shade. As winters are approaching, this lip balm is perfect for healing dry and chapped lips.

Staying Power

The lip bakm has a nice staying power. I make sure to apply it before going to bed at night and it effectively keeps my lips moisturized throughout the night. However, during daytime, it needs reapplication in about 2-3 hours. Like every other lip balm, this lip balm cannot survive meals and needs reapplication.
