My Experience With Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation
Shade, Texture & Fragrance
As I have a fair skin tone with yellow undertones, so, I went for 02 Beige Vanilla shade. The Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation has a smooth, silky soft, moussey texture and is quite lightweight. It spreads very easily on the skin. Though, according to Lakme, it is best applied with the help of your fingers but I applied it with a makeup sponge. It has a cosmetic artificial fragrance that fades away after some time.

Coverage And Efficacy
This foundation offers sheer to light coverage. It gives a completely natural look and is perfect for daily use as nothing looks too over the top. Fortunately, I have a healthy skin with minor flaws so, this foundation worked well for me to even out those imperfections. However, you need to use a concealer for hiding dark circles, blemishes, and acne scars.
My T-zone is little oily and this foundation effectively controls oil and shine on that area and helps me in looking brighter and fresher. The foundation settles into a matte finish but is completely non-drying. So, those who have dry skin can also go for it. As shared earlier, the foundation is lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on the skin at all.
Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation is indeed made for all skin types as it neither highlight the dry patches nor settles into the pores of the skin. Though, you can build up the coverage of the foundation but it is recommended not to go overboard as it will give that powdery or ashy finish to the face.

Staying Power
The foundation stays for 5-6 hours. However, its staying power can be increased by applying a primer underneath and a compact for setting it. I cannot say that it is waterproof but it is transfer resistant to some extent. So, if you are stuck in the light rain, the foundation will not run down your face.
Overall, I really liked Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation as it is quite lightweight, has a moussey texture, didn’t break out my sensitive skin and is apt for everyday use. So, I would definitely recommend buying this foundation.
