I have shared with you already that I purchased some L’Oreal lipsticks from nykaa.com during the sale as it was the best time to grab these. This lipstick is the last one from the lot. I have purchased it in the shade Mocha Gold. This Gold Obsession Lipstick Collection features signatures of L’Oreal celebrity endorsers which also includes our Bollywood Celebrities, Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor. It is provided with a colour-coded button at the center so, it becomes really easy to identify the shade. At the base of the lipstick is given colour-coded sticker that bears the shade name as well. Overall, the packaging looks stunning and luxurious.

My Experience With L’Oreal Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick – Mocha Gold

The shade Mocha Gold is a beautiful dark brown shade that has burgundy undertones. The lipstick has subtle golden shimmers in it that are not chunky and add dimension to the lipstick. This shade is absolutely ‘Love at first sight’ kind of shade and will suit all skin tones. The shade is perfect to wear during the festive season. The Celebrity Ambassador for this shade is Eva Longoria and the lipstick bears her signature on the cap. The lipstick has a buttery smooth texture and it glides on the lips effortlessly. It doesn’t cling to dry patches and doesn’t settle into the fine lines of the lips. It is very comfortable to wear and keeps the lips moisturized which is a boon for those having dry lips. I absolutely love such textures.

L’Oreal Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick is quite pigmented and in one swipe delivers good colour pay-off. If you have pigmented lips then you only need to give two swipes to hide them. The lipstick settles into a glossy finish rather than matte making the lips look healthy and luscious. The gold shimmer particles present in the lipstick reflect the proper amount of shine and the lips look quite glossy and plump. I always prefer to wear such lipsticks with a lip liner to avoid feathering.

Let’s talk about the staying power of this lipstick. Being creamy in texture, the lipstick transfers heavily. It cannot survive meals and needs reapplication. On my lips, it stays for around 3-4 hours without disturbing. Despite the less staying power, I absolutely loved L’Oreal Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick because of the finish that it offers to the lips. So, I would definitely recommend trying it.
