Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Genius Multi-Active 3-in-1 Water-Bursting Mask Review.

In my previous post, I shared with you my experience with L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Mask so, you can check that post as well. The word ‘Water-Bursting’ attracted me as I have combination skin and extra hydration is always welcomed. So, let’s see how this product worked for me.

L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Genius Multi-Active 3-in-1 Water-Bursting Mask comes in a pale turquoise coloured jar packaging. It is provided with a screw cap beneath which is given a white coloured plastic covering to prevent product-spillage. The mask itself comes encased in a colour coordinated cardboard box that bears all the necessary product-related details on it. Overall, the packaging is simple yet classy and is travel-friendly as well however, it doesn’t come with a spatula.

My Experience With L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Genius Multi-Active 3-in-1 Water-Bursting Mask

The mask has a hint of pale turquoise colour and it has a gel-like texture. The mask has a refreshing, citrusy fragrance which will not bother sensitive noses. It spreads easily and smoothly on the skin and upon application, it transforms into water droplets and gets absorbed into the skin quickly thereby delivering instant hydration. One thing that I felt is that it is silicon-laden and leaves a kind of waxy film on the skin. On touching my skin, I feel as if I have applied some primer. So, I thought to use it as a primer and I was really surprised to get delightful results. The mask acts a smooth barrier between my skin and makeup and at the same time it effectively hydrates my skin and has oil-control properties as well. So, as a primer, it works amazing.

I also apply this mask on my clean face as a sleeping mask before hitting the bed at night but somehow, I didn’t like it much. As shared above, it leaves a sort of waxy film on the skin and the product transfers to the pillow as well. So, as a sleeping mask, I always prefer to use Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. However, I have still tried it as a sleeping mask and the next morning, the skin feels quite soft, smooth and nourished. It keeps the skin hydrated effectively and caters to the dry areas of my face as well.

So, as far as I am concerned, I like to use L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Genius Multi-Active 3-in-1 Water-Bursting Mask as a primer beneath my makeup and not really comfortable to use it as a mask.
