I really like straightened hair and have got my hair smoothened last month. Now, the question was how to take care of the straightened hair after the treatment? What kind of shampoo, conditioner and hair mask should be used to maintain hair health? So, the L’Oreal professional suggested going for L’Oreal Professionnel XTenso Range. Hence, I purchased the L’Oreal Professionnel XTenso Care Shampoo, the serum and hair masque from the same range. I have been using these products for the past one month so, I decided to share my review with you all. Now, let’s see the detailed review.

Colour, Consistency & Fragrance

The shampoo is white in colour and has a consistency which is neither thick nor runny and can be applied easily on the scalp. The best part about the shampoo is its mild perfume-like fragrance. The fragrance stays for a good time and I really enjoy the whiffs my hair keep throwing at me occasionally.

My Experience With L’Oreal Professionnel XTenso Care Shampoo (Pro-Keratin + Incell)

As per the usage directions, I apply the shampoo and if you have hair till your waistline then, you will be requiring 2 spoonfuls of this shampoo. The shampoo lathers well and effectively cleanse hair. Now, let’s talk about the efficacy of the shampoo. The L’Oreal Professionnel XTenso Care Shampoo has given me good results. It has made my hair smoother and shinier. It didn’t make my hair dry. However, I do follow it with the L’Oreal Professionnel XTenso Care Hair Masque.

Now, the shampoo claims to have the anti-breakage technology. But, I am experiencing a lot of hair fall post shampooing. So, for me, this shampoo didn’t live up to the claim of preventing hair breakage. I do not think that I will be able to continue with this shampoo.
