The Maybelline Dream Satin Skin Liquid Foundation comes in a transparent glass bottle. It is provided with a pump dispenser which is covered by a plastic cap. As the bottle is transparent, you can easily see the shade and the quantity of the foundation. The pump is very receptive to touch and dispenses the right amount of product at a time. The cap provided on the dispenser is tightly secured and thus the packaging is travel-friendly. However, it is a glass packaging so you have to be a little careful.

Texture And Fragrance

This foundation has a texture somewhere between a liquid and a mousse foundation. Though it is thick in consistency yet it blends easily. You will get enough time to blend this foundation properly as it does not dry out quickly. To blend the product well, I use a damp makeup sponge and it leaves my base looking flawless.
The best part is that the foundation is fragrance-free as I can’t tolerate foundations having a strong smell. Moreover, fragrance can irritate sensitive noses and skin.

Coverage

The foundation gives a light and natural coverage. So, it is perfect for daily wear. The coverage can be built up from light to a medium at the most. It will blur out the appearance of large pores and will even out the skin tone. However, to hide dark spots or scars, you will need to use a concealer.

My Experience With Maybelline Dream Satin Skin Liquid Foundation

I have normal to combination skin. This foundation stayed on my skin for 5-6 hours. However, my T-zone is oily so I had to set it with setting powder. So, those who have extremely oily skin should give this product a miss especially in summers because it will melt and end up in a mess. However, it can be used in winters. It is ideal to wear this foundation during daytime as it contains high SPF (24 and PA ++). But during night time, it makes my face appear ghastly in pictures taken. This is because it has SPF which saturates the complexion in photos and gives dusty white cast.
