How To Use?

• • Turn the applicator in the direction of arrows given until the concealer comes on the sponge (It may take some turns on first use).

• • Apply concealer directly to the under-eye area using applicator, blending in an outward motion.

• • Apply the Neutralizer shade underneath your concealer shade, if you have extremely dark circles.

• • To give a luminous touch to inner corner of eyes, bridge of nose, cheek and brow bones, use the Brightener shade.

The concealer comes in a transparent glass tube with just the name of the product and shade printed on it in bright pink and white colour. The concealer comes with a unique sponge applicator at the top which is protected with a transparent plastic cap. All the necessary details are given on the outer packaging. My Experience With Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

I have got this concealer in the shade Medium which is a bit of n*de shade and will suit a bit fair and medium Indian skin tones.

The concealer has a thin and creamy consistency. The applicator provided is quite soft. It disperses the product evenly around the eyes. However, you need to blend the concealer with a brush or with your fingers otherwise it will just sit on your skin. Though, it is mentioned on the packaging that the concealer/applicator is provided with an anti-microbial system and we just need to wipe off excess eye concealer with dry tissue only but still, I am worried about the hygiene part. However, I do not want to pay any attention to this point as I really liked the concealer.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer is quite lightweight and you won’t feel as you have applied something heavy on your face. The concealer gets blended into the skin easily and doesn’t settle into the fine lines. It settles quickly so you really need to work with it fast.

Coverage

The concealer offers medium coverage. It gives a good brightening effect to my eyes on the days when I have taken appropriate sleep and have less dark circles. It hides those light circles and puffiness well. Moreover, it covers minor acne scars and redness. In addition, it has a good staying power of around 6 hours. People with dry skin types should moisturize the area around eyes properly before applying the concealer.

However, on some days when I have not taken appropriate rest and have extremely dark circles around my eyes then it doesn’t hide those dark circles. So, if you have extremely dark circles then, it will not cover those. Moreover, if you think of layering it up more then it will look quite unnatural. So, to cover up extremely dark circles, you will need to apply the Neutralizer shade or a colour corrector underneath your concealer shade. So, even I need to purchase the Neutralizer shade for those bad days. As far as its claim of treating dark circles is concerned then I don’t think any concealer can do that.
