Maybelline has recently launched a range of liquid matte lipsticks. The range comprises of 11 shades and is available on nykaa.com. I have purchased it in the shade 11 Made Easy and here is its detailed review. Packaging

Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick comes in a transparent, sleek, plastic, cylindrical tube so, it is really easy to identify the shade. It is provided with a glossy black coloured screw cap to which the doe-foot applicator is attached. At the base of the tube is given the shade number and name. It comes wrapped in a cellophane sheet that bears product-related details on it. Overall, the packaging is quite sleek and travel-friendly.

My Experience With Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick

As shared above, I have the lipstick in the shade 11 Made Easy which is a beautiful deep rusty brown shade. I absolutely loved the shade and was really looking for this one. It will suit all irrespective of the skin tones.

The lipstick has a creamy, moussey texture and glides easily on the lips. With its doe-foot applicator, it is quite easy to apply it evenly on the lips. The lipstick has a mild butterscotch fragrance however, it vanishes after the application so, it will not bother sensitive noses. It is quite pigmented and offers good colour pay-off. You will need to give two swipes to get the opaque colour on the lips. The lipstick settles down within one minute and offers a complete matte finish. It is quite lightweight however, it accentuates the fine lines on the lips. If you have extremely dry lips then, make sure to prep your lips before the application as the lipstick has a tendency to dry out the lips a bit.

Staying Power

Once, Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick settles down completely, it becomes almost transfer-proof and hardly transfers to the cups & glasses while drinking. It is smudge-resistant and water-resistant as well. With light snacks and beverages, it stays for good 5-6 hours on my lips. However, with a complete meal, it fades from the centre of the lips and needs re-application.

Overall, I really liked Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick as it has a creamy, moussey texture, glides easily on the lips, decently pigmented, lightweight, almost transfer-proof, smudge-resistant, water-resistant, offers a matte finish and stays for long. So, I would definitely recommend trying these lipsticks.

Not So Good About Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lipstick

• A little drying in nature so, those having extremely dry lips need to prep them before the application.
