Though, there are a lot of compacts available in the market but finding the most suitable one that can mattify your skin for long is really a task. I got a positive feedback about Maybelline White Superfresh Compact from many people so, I thought to give it a try. So, here is my review.

How To Use?

• Using the puff provided, apply the powder all over the face and neck.

The product comes packaged as a slim glossy white compact. It is provided with a full mirror on the inner side of the lid. In addition, it has a white puff which is good for quick touch-ups. The white puff and the compact powder are separated by a transparent plastic film. The product itself comes encased in a white and blue coloured square cardboard box that looks very attractive. All the necessary details except ingredients list are mentioned on the box.

Shades Of Maybelline White Superfresh Compact

The compact is available in 4 shades – Pearl, Shell, Coral and Marble.

• Pearl shade is for fair, cool-toned skin.
• Shell shade is for fair, warm-toned skin.
• Coral is for olive skin.
• Marble is for the wheatish/dusky skin.

My Experience With Maybelline White Superfresh Compact

Out of the 4 available shades, Pearl is the lightest one so, I went for this shade as it would blend with my complexion well.

I have a normal skin type. However, due to excessive sweating, my face looks dull. So, it becomes very important for me to use compact powders that can give me a little coverage and can also keep my makeup at a place. So, this time I decided to go for Maybelline White Superfresh Compact to see whether it fulfills what it claims or not? Let’s see that –

Texture And Fragrance

The compact is very fine and smooth in texture. It has a nice fruity kind of fragrance which is quite refreshing.

Oil Control

The first question that comes to the mind is whether it controls oil or not? The answer is YES. The compact is effective in controlling oil and keeps my face matte and fresh for about 4-5 hours. So, its claim of keeping face fresh for 12 hours is not true.

Coverage

Though, the compact offers a sheer coverage but it gives an instant brightness to the face. It can cover minor blemishes, however, for more evident scars, it is required to use a concealer.

Good About Maybelline White Superfresh Compact

Not So Good About Maybelline White Superfresh Compact

• Doesn’t fulfill its claim of 12-hour oil-control
• Coverage could be better
• Unavailability of shades for dark skin.

Overall, I really liked Maybelline White Superfresh Compact. It is good for everyday use, doesn’t get cakey, feels smooth on the skin and is perfect for oily/combination skin types. So, I would definitely recommend buying this compact.
