Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Radiance Oil In Gel Cream comes in a luxurious golden plastic jar. The jar is provided with a shiny golden cap and doesn’t come with any inner lid. But the good part is that the screw cap holds the jar tightly so there will not be any product-spillage making the packaging travel-friendly. Overall, I absolutely loved this classy packaging however, it is unhygienic.

My Experience With Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Radiance Oil In Gel Cream

The gel is light peachy golden in colour and has a gel-like consistency. It has an amazing refreshing fragrance that stays for around half an hour after the application. So, it can be headache inducing for sensitive noses. As far as I am concerned, I am pretty ok with the fragrance.

As per the usage directions, I applied the gel in dots all over my face. It gives watery feel to the skin which I feel quite soothing for summers. The gel spreads easily and gets absorbed into the skin within seconds. It is non-greasy and doesn’t give any sticky feeling making it apt for my combination skin. It is quite lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all.

Efficacy

Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Radiance Oil In Gel Cream claims to hydrate the skin and this is absolutely true. It instantly offers hydration to the skin making it soft, smooth and supple. Post application, the skin feels very healthy and nourished. Though, the cream is non-greasy but it cannot control oil and I could see oil peeping through my T-zone after 2 hours of application. So, I feel oily and combination skin types need to set it with compact to get the fresh look. People with normal and dry skin types can easily use this cream as it moisturizes the skin well and gives a healthy glow to the skin. One can also use this gel cream underneath makeup to keep the skin hydrated and it makes a great base for makeup.

If you want to use the gel as a day cream, make sure to use sunscreen as it doesn’t come with any sun protection.
