The chapstick comes encased in a transparent cover supported by a cute, girly, colourful cardboard sheet at the back. The packaging looks quite attractive. The New Lakme Lip Love Chapstick comes in a retractable bullet tube and its body is colour coordinated with the shade of lip balm so it is quite easy to identify the shade. A little description about the product is mentioned on the cardboard casing. However, there is no ingredients list mentioned on the packaging which is a turn-off. The cap provided on the tube closes with a click sound that makes the product secure thus making it travel-friendly.

My Take On New Lakme Lip Love Chapstick Strawberry
Strawberry is a fuchsia pink shade that looks sheer light pink on the lips. Such kind of tinted lip balms are an ideal option for college going girls that don’t apply lipsticks but still can add a pop of colour to their lips and keep them moisturized at the same time.
New Lakme Lip Love Chapstick Strawberry is tinted and you need to give 2-3 swipes to get a good tint on the lips. It has a mild fruity fragrance that vanishes after application. So, the fragrance will not be a bothering factor for sensitive noses. The best part about New Lakme Lip Love Chapstick is that it comes with SPF 15 so it will protect your lips from the harmful rays of the sun.
The New Lakme Lip Love Chapstick Strawberry has a smooth texture and a creamy consistency. This texture makes it easy to glide on the lips. Moreover, it is non-sticky.

Staying Power
Though, the New Lakme Lip Love Chapstick Strawberry claims to offer moisturization for 22 hours but it is not the case. It stays only for 2-3 hours and needs reapplication. However, when I apply it at night before hitting bed it keeps my lips moisturized till the next morning. Like every other lip balm, this chapstick cannot survive meals.
Efficacy
Let’s see how effective is this chapstick in keeping the lips moisturized and hydrated? The New Lakme Lip Love Chapstick Strawberry provides effective moisturization to the lips and keeps them soft and supple. Moreover, this lip balm is perfect to treat dry and chapped lips.
