Nivea has recently launched a range of hand creams. This range includes – Indulging Glycerine & Beeswax for all skin types, Refreshing Glycerine & Aloe Vera for dry skin and Soothing Glycerin & Olive for very dry skin. In this post, I will be talking about the latter.

Overall, the packaging is hygienic and travel-friendly however, it is not possible to see how much product is left in the tube as it is opaque.

My Experience With Nivea Hand Cream Soothing Glycerin & Olive

The cream is white and has a medium consistency. It has a mild flowery fragrance that I really like. The fragrance stays for a few minutes and then vanishes.

The Nivea hand cream contains olive oil which is an excellent moisturizer for dry skin. It can heal all the dry patches and leave the skin glowing and rejuvenated. It also contains glycerin which is not only effective in moisturizing the dry skin but also acts as a humectant and helps in retaining the moisture.

The cream spreads easily and gets absorbed into the skin with a little massage. The good part is that it is non-greasy and doesn’t leave behind any greasiness. But that doesn’t mean the cream is not effective in moisturizing the skin. It instantly removes the dryness of hands and keeps them moisturized till the next wash. I have dry hands and keep looking for a hand cream that is effective in removing dryness and doesn’t make my hands greasy and this cream fulfills my requirements. Moreover, it makes the hands soft and smooth. Though, I keep applying it during the day time whenever I wash my hands or whenever my hands feel dry but I make sure to apply it on my hands, elbows and knees before hitting the bed at night so that it can repair the damage.

Overall, I really liked Nivea Hand Cream Soothing Glycerin & Olive as it is paraben-free, quite economical, non-greasy, keeps my dry hands moisturized for long. So, I would highly recommend buying this cream.
