NY Bae offers a wide range of lipsticks, nail enamels, concealer, primer, kajal, eyeliner etc. I have already shared my reviews on a lot of NY Bae products so, you can go through these posts as well. In this post, I will be talking about NY Bae Compact that comes with SPF 40.  The compact is available in 8 shades and I have purchased it in the shade Quinn’s Warm Honey Look 5.

Packaging

The NY Bae compact comes in a black coloured round packaging. A sponge applicator and a mirror is provided inside for any time touch ups. It comes with a click close-open mechanism that makes the packaging travel-friendly as it doesn’t open on its own. The product itself comes encased in a cardboard packaging that bears all the necessary product-related information on it. Overall, there is nothing too fancy about the packaging.

My Experience With NY Bae Compact With SPF 40

The compact is beige in colour and has a smooth texture however not that velvety or silky smooth. I liked the fact that NY Bae compact comes with powder puff applicator which makes it easy to go for touch-ups and so, you need not carry any brush for the application. The applicator provided is of good quality and is very soft so, it does its job nicely.

Performance

The shade Quinn’s Warm Honey Look 5 is a perfect match for my skin tone. The compact is light and blends easily. It comes with SPF 40 which is a plus point and so, it is apt for day time use. Moreover, it doesn’t leave any white cast on the skin. It feels light on the skin and gives sheer to almost no coverage. So, I am using it over my foundation as a setting powder. I also use this compact when I don’t wear makeup and simply apply moisturizer and then powder my face with it.

The compact controls shine and keeps my T-zone oil free for 3-4 hours and gives a nice matte look. However, it doesn’t brighten up my complexion so, I don’t prefer it for party make-up.

Overall, NY Bae is a compact that comes with SPF 40, controls shine for 3-4 hours, quite affordable but offers sheer to almost no coverage.
