NY Bae Long EyeLand Deep Intense Kohl comes in regular pencil. It is not a sleek kind of a pencil rather it is made thick to have a better grip. The body of the pencil is black in colour and is provided with a silver coloured cap that fits well. However, it is difficult to identify the shade as the cap is not made colour coordinated with the shade of the kohl. The product details such as its claims, manufacturing details, shelf life, shade name is mentioned on the product. However, I find kohls with retractable mechanism better than the pencil packaging because wooden pencils need sharpening, again and again, leading to a lot of product wastage. Moreover, the pencil doesn’t come with a sharpener.

My Experience With NY Bae Long EyeLand Deep Intense Kohl Eye Pencil – Blue

It is a nice royal blue colour that will flatter any eye colour or complexion. The kohl is quite creamy and has a very smooth texture. It glides easily and smoothly on my waterline without any tugging. Moreover, it offers intense pigmentation. Two swipes are enough to get a good colour pay off. In addition, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.

Now, the brand claims it to be smudge proof. Let’s find out whether it is true or not. Let me tell you, the pencil is not at all smudge proof. I sit in front of a computer for many hours and have the habit of rubbing my eyes. The moment you will rub your eyes, it will smudge like anything.

Now, the brand also claims it to be water resistant. Yes, it is true. The Pencil is water resistant and will not bleed on coming in contact with water.

Next claim is that it will last up to 12 hours. Honestly, I couldn’t test it for so long because the moment I rubbed my eyes it came off on my fingers and got spread around my eyes. So, I had to remove it immediately.

Overall, I am not satisfied with the performance of NY Bae Long EyeLand Deep Intense Kohl Eye Pencil and would not recommend buying it. You can definitely go for NY Bae Kajal The Big Apple Of My Eye.
