Packaging

Nykaa Matte To Last Metallic Liquid Lipstick and Eyeshadow comes in a clear transparent plastic bottle. It is provided with a colour coordinated, shiny cap having a metallic finish and a little ombre effect on top of it. At the base of the lipstick is given a shade sticker that bears the shade name as well. The lipstick comes encased in a colour-cordinated shiny, metallic finish cardboard box so, it becomes really easy to identify the shade from the outer box and from the inner packaging as well. Overall, the packaging looks quite classy and is compact so making it travel-friendly.

My Experience With Nykaa Matte To Last Metallic Liquid Lipstick and Eyeshadow

The different shades of this product are being named on the Iconic Songs of Iconic Artists. As shared above, I have purchased the product in the shade Firework which is a crimson red/rusty metallic shade. Fireworks is a song by Katy Perry from the album ‘Teenage Dream’. This shade will look good on fair to medium skin tones but can wash out darker skin tones.

Texture & Finish

The applicator of the lipstick is leaf-shaped, pointy and has a slight slant so, it bends really well and makes the application easy. The lipstick has a little creamy texture and glides easily on the lips. It is super-pigmented and it just needs one swipe and you don’t really need to dip-in the applicator again in the bottle. The lipstick settles down quickly in just 1-2 minutes and it offers pearly metallic matte kind of finish on the lips. The lipstick is quite lightweight and comfortable to wear. However, if you have extremely dry lips then it can make your lips feel drier. One thing that I didn’t like about it is that it accentuates the fine lines of the lips so, it is very important to prep your lips before the application.

The product can be used as an eye shadow and trust me it really works great as an eyeshadow. It settles down fast so you really need to blend it quickly. If you are looking for a metallic eyeshadow then this product is definitely for you as it stays for long.

Staying Power Of Nykaa Matte To Last Metallic Liquid Lipstick and Eyeshadow

Nykaa Matte To Last Metallic Liquid Lipstick is transfer-proof and waterproof and it stays for about 5-6 hours with light snacks and beverages. Even after having a complete meal, it faded slightly from the inner corners of my upper lip and was intact on the lower lip. Honestly, I didn’t feel the need to reapply it and the lipstick was on for another few hours until I decided to remove it. For removing this lipstick, you need to use good micellar water.

Overall, I really liked Nykaa Matte to Last Metallic Liquid Lipstick and Eyeshadow and would definitely recommend buying this.
