In one of my previous posts, I shared with you that Nykaa has launched a range of facial oils. This range consists of 5 variants that cater to different skin issues. The reason is quite simple, aging is inevitable and we cannot run away from it. However, with the use of certain anti-aging ingredients, we can restore our skin and can turn back the clock. So, let’s see the detailed review of this facial oil.

Usage Directions

My Experience With Nykaa Skin Potion Facial Oil – Anti-Ageing

The oil is transparent and of course, has an oil-like texture, however, it is not that thick. It has a nutty fragrance that stays for some time after the application and honestly, I didn’t like it much. As shared above, the oil has a light consistency and with a little massage, it gets absorbed into the skin easily. Once, it gets absorbed into the skin fully, it feels pretty much dry to touch. I have combination skin and to my surprise, the oil doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and it doesn’t make my skin feel sweaty. It keeps my skin moisturized without making me look like a greaseball. It makes my skin so soft and smooth and offers a nice healthy glow.

How Am I Using Nykaa Skin Potion Facial Oil?

I have tried using this oil in the morning under my makeup and it really worked well in offering a nice base. It helped in the easy blending of the foundation and gave a nice glowy effect to the skin. 2-3 drops of the oil are enough to cover the whole face so, make sure not to use in excess and set your makeup with a compact. So, this way, you can incorporate this skincare ingredient into your makeup as well.

I have also incorporated this oil into my night-time skincare regime. Though, the usage directions say to use it before the application of night cream, however, for my combination skin, the oil alone is sufficient enough in keeping my skin hydrated and moisturized and also serves anti-aging benefits. So, I don’t feel the need to apply any night cream. If you are having dry skin then, you can definitely go for the night cream as well.

Let’s Talk About The Ingredient List

When I checked the ingredient list of Nykaa Skin Potion Facial Oil, I found it quite impressive. It contains a blend of various oils that offer a plethora of benefits to our skin. For instance – Pomegranate Seed Oil, Buriti Fruit Oil, Marula Oil, Rosehip seed oil, Jojoba oil, Grapeseed oil, Olive oil, Argan oil, Vitamin E, Retinol, etc. Please refer to the image provided to get the detailed list. These ingredients are not only known for their anti-aging benefits but they also offer many other benefits to our skin. So, I am sure that incorporating this oil into my skincare regime will help in restoring my skin thereby making it look healthy, youthful and radiant.

Overall, I really liked Nykaa Skin Potion Facial Oil and I believe that Nykaa has done a wonderful job by bridging the gap between makeup and skincare and has created a product where skincare unites with make-up.
