Hi Everyone!! Today, I am reviewing Plum Body Butter Berry Sorbet which is being launched recently.

Plum Goodness has just launched body butters in 4 variants – Vanilla & Fig, Berry Sorbet, Wild Cherries & Kiwi and Creme Caramel. As I have dry skin so, I keep trying new body lotions and body butters that are meant for dry skin types. When I heard of this new launch, I thought to try it and so, here is its detailed review. I have purchased Berry Sorbet variant of Plum Body Butter.

Packaging

Plum Body Butter Berry Sorbet comes in a big transparent plastic tub with a white coloured screw cap on it. The detailing done on the lavender coloured labels makes the packaging quite attractive and eye-catching. Below the cap is given a sturdy plastic stopper to prevent product spillage. Though the tub packaging is unhygienic but I still like it. It is quite sturdy, the material used is of good quality and look so simple yet elegant. At the base of the tub, you will find all the product-related information.

Colour, Texture, Consistency & Fragrance

The body butter has a very light lavender colour. It has a very smooth texture and thick consistency just like butter. I just love to take the product with my finger as it feels so soft and smooth to touch.Plum Body Butter Berry Sorbet has a mild, sweet fruity fragrance that I really liked and the fragrance stays for some time after the application.

My Experience With Plum Body Butter Berry Sorbet

The body butter is creamy and with a little massage, gets absorbed into the skin. The best part is that it is non-greasy and doesn’t leave behind any greasy layer thereby offering velvety matte finish.

Plum Body Butter Berry Sorbet instantly moisturizes the skin. After the application, my dry skin looks hydrated, soft and supple without looking greasy. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and is apt to cater my dry skin in the prevailing weather conditions of Mumbai. Once applied in the morning after taking bath, I don’t feel the need to reapply it again during the day.

However, I feel that the product may not be effective for catering very dry skin during the extreme winter season. People with extremely dry skin types may need to reapply it again and again in order to get relief from dryness and itchiness. However, the body butter is apt for people with dry to normal skin but will be heavy for oily skin types.

As far as my case is concerned, Plum Body Butter Berry Sorbet is apt for my dry and sensitive skin. It effectively hydrates and moisturizes my skin and makes it look soft and supple throughout the day.

Not So Good About Plum Body Butter Berry Sorbet

• May not be effective for extremely dry skin types
• Expensive
