Hi Everyone!! Today, I am going to share Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini) Review.

I have received this mini lipstick in the Fab Bag Of September 2018 in the shade 08 Brownton Abbey. Receiving lipsticks in subscription boxes and that too from such premium brands makes me so happy. Being a huge lipstick lover, I love to add lipsticks in my treasure. I have tried this lipstick and here is the detailed review.

Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini) lipstick comes in a black coloured, matte finish, rectangular, small case. It is encased in a beautiful graphic black and purple coloured classic Sugar Cosmetics cardboard box packaging. All the necessary details like the complete ingredient list, the shade number and name, shelf life etc are mentioned on the outer packaging. You will also find the shade name and the expiration date at the base of the lipstick. The cap of the lipstick shuts with a click sound that ensures that it is properly locked. Overall, the packaging is so cute, classic and travel-friendly.

My Experience With Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini) 08 Brownton Abbey

Shade, Texture & Pigmentation

The shade 08 Brownton Abbey is a peachy brown colour and will suit a wide variety of skin tones. This shade can be worn every day. The lipstick has a soft and creamy texture and glides on the lips effortlessly. With its creamy and hydrating formula, my lips stay hydrated and nourished for long. Moreover, the lipstick doesn’t accentuate the fine lines of the lips.

Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini) is decently pigmented and only 2 swipes are enough to get the perfect opaque finish. This lipstick settles into a matte finish with a nice and hydrating formula. It has a mild, non-bothering fruity fragrance.

Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini) is not smudge proof. It smudges a little from the outer corners of the lips after a full meal. So, I would suggest wearing a lipliner underneath to prevent the lipstick from feathering.

Usually, we exfoliate our lips before the application of any matte lip colour. But, with this lipstick, it is not required. The lipstick is comfortable to wear and doesn’t feel sticky or waxy.

Being creamy in texture, Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini) does transfer a little. However, there is no heavy transferring so, I don’t consider it as a con.

Staying Power

Now, let’s talk about the staying power of the lipstick. It stays for 5-6 hours on my lips. After having a full meal, the lipstick fades from the inner corners of my upper lip however, remains on my lower lip. Moreover, it leaves a good stain on the lips, once the colour is gone. This lipstick is quite easy to remove and you just need a wet wipe, swipe it and the job is done. Overall, I really liked the Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini) and would definitely recommend buying this.

Not So Good About Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick (Mini)

• The lipstick is not smudge proof and transfers a little. However, it doesn’t claim to be smudge proof and transfer proof.
