Hi Everyone!! Today, I am going to review VLCC Snigdha Skin Whitening Day Cream which I have been testing for quite some time.

One day, I was just browsing the VLCC website and was looking at the products. There I saw Snigdha Skin Whitening Day Cream. I immediately added it to my cart because of the fact that it was claiming to contain Mulberry, Liquorice and SPF 25 that protect the skin from harmful UV rays and makes skin even toned. This was the best alternative to avoid the application of greasy sunscreens whenever I am at home. So, I purchased and now, I am ready to share my review with you.

The cream comes in white and pink coloured plastic tub. It has a screw open cap mechanism which is dome-shaped and keeps the contents safe. The cream itself is housed in a cardboard box having same colour combinations. All the necessary details about the product are mentioned on the box and the tub as well. As the packaging is only of 50gm so, the product is light in weight and is travel-friendly.

The cream is white in colour and has a consistency which is neither thick nor runny. It has a very nice mild fragrance that lingers on for quite some time. I absolutely love the fragrance. This cream gets absorbed into the skin easily. However, few minutes post-application, my skin starts to sweat and my T-zone appears little greasy. So, you need to set this cream with some loose powder. Those who have dry to normal skin tone will not face this issue. People with oily and combination skin types can use this cream during winters.

Unlike other SPF induced creams, this cream doesn’t leave any white cast on the skin and is effective in offering sun protection. The cream instantly brightens up the face. My skin looks so nourished, soft and bright post application. Whenever I am at home, I use this cream in the morning and I am sorted for the day. It protects my face with SPF 25, moisturizes my skin and also gives me a fresh bright look. However, if you are going out in the sun for the whole day then you need to pair this cream up with some powerful sunscreens.

Not So Good About VLCC Snigdha Skin Whitening Day Cream

  • The only thing that I found not so good about this cream is that it contains parabens.
  • Secondly, it is not suitable for oily skin types as it makes skin little greasy post application.

    • Hi Sandhya..sweating doesn’t cause acne however, the cream is a little heavy for oily skin types and excess oil can cause acne…
