Packaging
The cream comes in a pinkish red coloured glass jar which looks super classy and attractive. The jar is provided with a shiny silvery screw cap that closes tightly making the packaging spill-proof. Beneath the cap is given a protective plastic cover to avoid product spillage. The cream itself comes encased in a bright shiny pink cardboard box bearing all the necessary product details. Overall, the packaging looks very attractive.
However, being glass packaging you have to handle it carefully and hence it is not travel-friendly. Moreover, the jar packaging is unhygienic as every time one needs to dip in the fingers to get the product.

My Experience With VLCC Specifix Brightening Day Cream
Taking out the cream from the jar packaging is a difficult task as it creates a mess around the rim and on the fingers too. The protective lid provided gets stuck in the upper cap and the product spills out on the rim leading to the product wastage. I would have preferred if the cream comes in a tube packaging.
The VLCC Specifix Brightening Day Cream is white in colour and has a smooth creamy texture. It has a medium/viscous consistency and has a mild pleasant fragrance that vanishes after application.
Now comes the application part. I would suggest you to apply the cream to your face and neck by following the dots technique. Don’t take the product in your palm and then start with the application as this way the cream gets stuck to the palm and it becomes difficult to spread it on the face.

Efficacy
The cream instantly brightens the face the moment you apply it. Once absorbed into the skin it offers deep hydration and makes the skin look healthy and moisturized. It makes skin soft, smooth and adds a healthy natural glow to the skin. I absolutely love the way it brightens and hydrates my skin. The best part is that it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and doesn’t leave any greasiness behind. Moreover, it doesn’t make my skin sweat.
Another good thing about this cream is that it comes with SPF 25 PA+++ that makes it ideal for daytime use. However, I noticed that it does leave a white cast on the skin. But after 35-40 minutes the skin looks normal and that white cast subsides. As far as the skin lightening part is concerned, this cream doesn’t offer any skin whitening but it definitely gives a nice glowing look.
Overall, I am satisfied with the results of VLCC Specifix Brightening Day Cream and would definitely recommend buying it.
