View/Buy

The Lip Color comes in a soft rubberized black crayon packaging. It comes with a retractable mechanism that I really appreciate as sharpening leads to a lot of product wastage. However, the tip does not retract all the way down. The cap and the bottom of the lip color are made colour-coded for the easy identification of the shade. The Lip Color comes wrapped in a transparent cover that bears all the necessary product related information.

My Experience With Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color – Looking For Truffle

Shade

Swatch Of Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color Looking For Truffle
Swatch Of Looking For Truffle

The lip color Looking For Truffle is a medium berry brown shade that will suit medium to fair skin tones. It would be a good n*ude shade for medium skin tones and is great for everyday use.

Texture, Pigmentation & Finish

The lip color is quite soft and has a velvety texture. Being soft and velvety, it glides on the lips like a dream. It has a very comfortable and wearable formula. Though, it is not terribly pigmented but it gives enough pigment to provide pretty colour on my lips.

It settles into the velvety matte finish and doesn’t dry the lips at all. It is very lightweight and so comfortable to wear without being too velvety or heavy.

Staying Power

The lip color stayed for 3 hours on my lips without any disturbance. However, it cannot survive meals and fades away completely. It transfers easily onto cups and glasses.
