Alps Goodness has recently launched a new skincare range that is infused with sandalwood. The range includes a face wash, toner, face scrub, face gel and face cream. I have all the products with me except the toner because at the time of purchase it was not in stock. In this post, I will be sharing my experience with the face wash. My Experience With Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Wash

The face wash appears very light peachy in colour and has a transparent gel-like texture. Honestly, I was expecting sandalwood fragrance however, it has a very artificial fragrance that I didn’t like much. The face wash has a flowy consistency, lathers moderately and a coin-size amount is enough for one-time use.

The face wash contains sandalwood and the use of Chandan or Sandalwood in skincare regime dates back to thousand years not only in India but in other regions around the world as well. Sandalwood has anti-bacterial properties that can fight acne-causing bacteria and can reduce blemishes and acne scars. Efficacy

The face wash is quite effective in removing dirt, grime, excess oil and impurities from the skin. Post rinsing, skin looks squeaky clean and clear. It also removes dullness from the face and adds freshness and brightness which is really required after spending the whole day out. I would strongly recommend using this face wash especially in the evening when you really need to remove all the dirt, oil and grime from your skin. I believe the face wash is apt for oily skin as it helps in controlling oil production. However, it may not be suitable for people with dry skin as it makes the skin feel a little dry after the application.

Overall, Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Wash is a decent face wash that does its job of cleaning the skin well however, it makes the skin a little dry after the application.
