Hi Everyone!! This article will share Dot & Key Velvet Body Butter Review.
Thicker and more enriching than body lotion, body butter nurtures your skin from within and keeps it supple, silky, and younger-looking. I have dry skin type so, I always have to have body butter with me, be it winter or summer season. Recently, I purchased Dot & Key Velvet Body Butter and here is its detailed review. The body butter comes in two variants – Damask Rose & Lavender and Warm Cocoa & French Vanilla. I have with me the former one so, let’s see how it performed.

Packaging
Dot & Key Velvet Body Butter Damask Rose & Lavender comes in a very cute, pink coloured plastic jar which is provided with a white coloured, wavy cap. It comes encased in an aqua-greenish cardboard box which bears the pictures of roses and lavender thereby depicting the variant. The box bears all the product-related details on it. Overall, the packaging is very cute but as it is big in size so, is not travel-friendly.
My Experience With Dot & Key Velvet Body Butter
The body butter is white in colour and it has a mild fragrance of roses that stays for some time. As the fragrance is quite mild so, it will not bother sensitive noses. Unlike other body butters that I have used having butter-like, thick consistency, this body butter has a very smooth, cream-like consistency. It glides easily on the skin and gets absorbed into the skin with a little massage.
I make sure to apply this butter after taking bath on my damp skin and it instantly moisturize my skin making it look soft and plump. It adds a slight glow to the skin as well. Initially, for a few minutes, you will feel that you have applied something quite moisturizing but after that the sticky or greasy feeling doesn’t exist but it keeps the skin moisturized. However, as I have extremely dry skin type, so, I need to reapply it after a few hours even during this summer season. So, according to me, people with normal skin type can use this body butter during winter season. I think I need to try the other variant which is Warm Cocoa & French Vanilla that claims to be meant for extremely dry skin types.
My Rating – 3.5/5
