Faces Canada has recently launched a new range of face wash for different skin types. The range includes 3 variants – for dry skin, for normal to combination skin and for oily skin. I have purchased Faces Epic Skin Face Wash for Oily Skin for my husband and here is its detailed review. My Experience With Faces Epic Skin Face Wash For Oily Skin

The face wash has a transparent gel-like texture. It has a very refreshing citrusy mild fragrance and has consistency so apt for a face wash. The face wash lathers moderately and a coin-size amount is enough for one-time use.

Efficacy

Faces Epic Skin Face Wash For Oily Skin contains Mandarin oil that helps in controlling oil and Basil (Tulsi) that not only helps in the prevention of acne but also helps to remove acne scars. The face wash is meant for detoxifying skin as it contains Beetroot that has skin detoxifying properties.

The face wash is quite effective in removing excess oil, dirt and impurities from the skin leaving it squeaky clean. It helps in controlling oil but for 1-2 hours. After that oil starts peeping through the t-zone though, less oily than before.  The good part about the face wash is that it doesn’t make skin feel very stretchy. I believe that is because of the presence of glycerin in the face wash.

Post rinsing, skin looks squeaky clean and clear. It removes dullness from the face and adds freshness which is really required after spending the whole day out. I would strongly recommend using this face wash, especially in the evening when you really need to remove all the dirt, oil and grime from your skin. I believe the face wash is apt for oily skin and can also work for combination skin types. I am having combination skin and I am also using this face wash. It doesn’t make my skin feel dry or stretchy after use. However, I would still advice to use a moisturizer that works best for your skin.

As far as its claim of keeping skin acne-free is concerned, I cannot comment on that as fortunately, my husband is not having any acne on his skin at the moment.
