Good Vibes has recently launched two gel cremes under its PLUS range. One is Green Tea + Liquorice and the other is Aloe Vera + Sativa Seed. I have purchased the former one and here is its detailed review.

• Take 5-6 dots of the gel creme on your fingertips and apply to your face using small concentric circles.

Packaging

Good Vibes Plus Oil Control + Nourishing Gel Creme (Green Tea + Liquorice) comes in dark brown coloured glass container. It is provided with a black coloured screw cap under which is given a white coloured plastic lid to prevent product-spillage. The creme itself comes encased in a white cardboard box that bears all the product-related details. Though the glass packaging always looks classy, however, it is not travel-friendly as you need to handle it with care. Moreover, the tub packaging is quite unhygienic.

My Experience With Good Vibes Plus Oil Control + Nourishing Gel Creme

The gel creme is light green in colour and has a gel-like texture. It has a mild herbal fragrance that doesn’t last for long and so will not bother sensitive noses.

I apply this creme on my clean and toned face. It gets absorbed into the skin quickly. The good part is that it is quite lightweight, non-greasy and doesn’t leave behind any greasiness. The gel creme settles into a matte finish which makes it perfect for oily and combination skin types.

I have combination skin and that is why I chose Green tea variant as green tea has the capacity to treat acne. Green tea is a powerful antibacterial agent that fights with acne-causing bacteria. Moreover, it has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help to delay the aging of skin. Efficacy Of Good Vibes Plus Oil Control + Nourishing Gel Creme

The creme claims to control sebum production and it actually fulfills that claim. It sets into a matte finish and controls oil but for 2-3 hours. After that, the oil starts peeping through my T-zone area again however, lesser in comparison.

Furthermore, the gel creme claims to moisturize the skin. Let’s see whether it fulfills that claim or not. The answer is YES. It contains Liquorice that helps in keeping the skin moisturized and makes it soft. However, the creme doesn’t add any brightness to the skin. I like to apply this creme under my makeup as well as it controls oil production and at the same time keeps my skin moisturized.

Overall, I really liked Good Vibes Plus Oil Control + Nourishing Gel Creme as it is a perfect combination of gel and creme. So, I would definitely recommend buying this.
