Hi Everyone!! Today’s review is on I-Amsterdamn Matte Lip Crayon that has been launched recently.

The brand I-Amsterdamn is available only on purplle.com and offers a range of bullet lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, compact, eyeliner, foundation etc. Recently, it has launched its range of matte lip crayons in 20 shades and the range is named as Tulipa Single Late. Out of the 20 available options, I purchased I-Amsterdamn Matte Lip Crayon in the shade 10 Greuze and here is its detailed review.

Packaging

I-Amsterdamn Matte Lip Crayon comes in a lightweight crayon packaging. It is a white coloured pencil that needs to be sharpened and is provided with a tight holding transparent cap. This is the saddest part about the crayon because sharpening leads to the wastage of product and you always need to carry a sharpener along. On the other hand, the retractable mechanism is quite user-friendly. Moreover, it doesn’t come with a sharpener and you need to purchase one.

The crayon comes encased in a classic white coloured cardboard packaging with beautiful images of Tulips printed on it. All the necessary product-related details can be found on the outer box. Overall, the packaging is sleek and travel-friendly.

My Experience With I-Amsterdamn Matte Lip Crayon

The shade 10 Greuze is a purplish pink colour. Actually I was not having any shade from the purple family so, I wanted to try it. The shade what I saw on the website, I received the same colour. So, I believe you can easily rely on the shades shown on the website and can select without any fear of getting a different shade.

I-Amsterdamn Matte Lip Crayon is enriched with vitamin E and castor oil and has a creamy texture. It glides on the lips smoothly without any pulling or tugging. As far as the pigmentation part is concerned, I won’t say that it is intensely pigmented but yes, it offers decent pigmentation. You need to give 2-3 swipes to get the intense colour on the lips.

The crayon claims to settle into matte finish however, it settles into a velvety matte finish. It doesn’t dry out the lips and is quite comfortable to wear.

The crayon is not smudge-proof and transfers as well. It stays for around 3 hours on my lips with light snacks and drinks. However, with meals that are not oily, it fades from the inner corners of my upper lip and the intensity of the colour reduces. But it cannot survive oily foods and fades giving a pink tint on the lips.

Removing I-Amsterdamn Matte Lip Crayon is not that difficult. All you need is a wet wipe but I always prefer to use Nivea Micellar Rose Water so as to ensure complete removal.
