Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence review that has been launched recently.

How To Apply?

• Wash your face gently with a cleanser.
• Pour 3-4 drops on your palm.
• Spread it between your palms without rubbing it too much.
• Gently tap it on your forehead.
• Then tap your cheeks.
• Finish with your chin.
• There is no need to use a cotton pad.

When To Apply?

• Apply it twice a day – once in the morning and once in the night.
• Can be paired/used before sunscreen.
• Can be used as moisturiser.

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence comes in a frosted, sleek glass bottle that looks luxurious and gives a premium feel. It is provided with a shiny, silvery cap that you simply need to rotate to open. Below the cap is given a plastic protective cover with a hole so, the product coming out is never too much and is still under our control. Overall, I absolutely loved the packaging. It looks very elegant just like a high-end skincare product.

My Experience With L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence

The essence is transparent and has a water-like consistency. It has a mild flowery fragrance that vanishes within a few seconds after the application so, it will not be bothering for sensitive noses. I am using this essence for the past few days, twice a day – in the morning and at night as well. According to the usage directions, I just take 3-4 drops of the product in my palms and slightly warm it up and using the patting technique, I apply it to my face and neck. On application, it gives a watery-feel on the skin that feels quite soothing and gets absorbed quickly. This is because of the fact that it uses Micronized Technology which helps in faster absorption and penetration up to 10 layers. The good part about this essence is that it is lightweight, non-sticky and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue on the skin.

Efficacy

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence contains skin brightening actives – Salicylic acid and Hepes. Salicylic acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) that is derived from willow bark and is used for topical application due to its powerful ‘acne-fighting’ properties. It is also an effective exfoliant that helps in dissolving dead skin cells that are built upon the skin’s surface leading to improvement in skin health and appearance.

Hepes also helps in removing dead skin cells and accelerates skin renewal process. The essence also contains Centella Asiatica that boosts skin elasticity, repairs the skin and smoothens out lines and wrinkles. It also contains butylene glycol which is a humectant that helps in keeping the skin moisturised. 

I am using this essence for the past few days and it really helps in offering instant hydration and freshness to my skin. It penetrates easily into the skin and also helps in the better absorption of the other skincare products that I apply afterward. It makes my skin so soft, smooth and plump. As shared above, it is non-sticky so, you can easily apply it under your makeup to keep your skin hydrated and moisturised. Moreover, it didn’t give any sort of irritation, itchiness or redness on my face. Though, you can easily use it in place of a moisturiser however, I would recommend to follow it up with a day cream or a night cream. Make sure not to avoid sunscreen during the day time.

Overall, I absolutely loved L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence as it keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized, offers mild exfoliation thereby making it look clean, hydrated, refreshed, plump and radiant. I believe it is going to be a must in my skincare routine and will be perfect to use in dry weather since it really feels like water and soaks right into the skin and for humid weather as well as it makes the skin feel so refreshed. So, I would definitely recommend trying this product.

Not So Good About L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Crystal Micro-Essence
