My Experience With MAC Retro Satin Lipstick

As per MAC, the shade Retro is a muted peachy-pinky brown shade. I agree with that however, I feel it has that red tone that gives it Retro-ish edge. On my lips, Retro looks like a reddish-peachy brown. This is the shade that I can wear all by itself on my bare face and still can get that brightened look. Moreover, the shade is appropriate enough for office wear as well. I really liked MAC Retro Satin Lipstick and the shade will suit almost all skin tones.

The Lipstick has a smooth, buttery texture and it has the typical MAC’s vanilla fragrance. It settles into a satiny finish and adds a nice sheen to the lips. The lipstick is richly pigmented and can hide pigmented lips in a single swipe. The best part is that it doesn’t dry out the lips and keeps them moisturized. Let’s talk about the staying power of the lipstick. With light snacks and drinks, it stays for 5 hours on my lips.

Overall, I really liked MAC Retro Satin Lipstick as it glides easily on the lips, richly pigmented, keeps the lips moisturized, stays for good 5 hours and goes well with formal and Indian attire as well.
