MCaffeine Sea Fern Sunscreen Review

Hi Everyone!! Today, I am going to review MCaffeine Sea Fern Sunscreen SPF 30+ PA++.

I got this sunscreen in my ZoBag May 2018 and have been using this for past 10 days and so, I am ready to share its review. I have already used MCaffeine Silver Caffeine Glow Gel and have shared its review in my previous post.

MCaffeine Sea Fern Sunscreen Review

The only product that can protect our skin from the harmful UV radiations is the sunscreen. Intelligent use of good quality sunscreen not only offers protection but also helps in preventing the formation of wrinkles, moles and protects the skin from sagging. Though lots of sunscreens are available in the market but today, I will be talking about MCaffeine Sea Fern Sunscreen that I received in my ZoBag May 2018.

Directions To Use

• Take a generous amount of the sunscreen and pat it all over the face and the exposed areas.
• Spread it gently and massage it for 1-2 minutes.
• Apply it 15 minutes before stepping out for protection against UV rays.

MCaffeine Sea Fern Sunscreen comes in a round, transparent plastic bottle. It is provided with a pump dispenser. The product label holds all the necessary details of the product. To open the lock, you will have to slide the nozzle to the left. After that, you can press the nozzle normally to take out the product. The packaging is sturdy and is safe to travel only when you have secured the nozzle. Otherwise, the lotion can spill.

Fragrance

The sunscreen has a nice, mild pleasing fragrance. However, it doesn’t linger on post application.

Colour, Texture And Consistency 

The sunscreen is milky white in colour and has a smooth creamy texture. It is almost like a lotion and has a consistency which is neither thick nor runny.

My Take On MCaffeine Sea Fern Sunscreen

The sunscreen is lightweight and non-greasy. However, it requires 1-2 minutes of massage for the complete absorption into the skin. Make sure to apply it in the appropriate amount otherwise it will leave a white cast on the skin. It doesn’t make my skin sweaty or greasy at all. So, it is ideal for people having oily skin. Those who have extremely dry skin can apply a moisturizer beneath it. I have a combination skin and this sunscreen provides enough moisture and hydration to my skin. The sunscreen brightens up the skin instantly and makes skin soft and supple.

It is recommended to apply the sunscreen in the proper amount. If slathered thickly then it will leave a white cast which is quite visible.

The sunscreen doesn’t irritate my skin at all. But there is one little thing that bothers – it doesn’t resist sweat and water. As it is not a water-proof sunscreen so, one needs to re-apply it once it gets washed down with sweat or water.

As far as sun protection is concerned, it has SPF of 30 PA ++ which is quite adequate. It effectively protects me against suntan for a shorter period of time. However, if you are out for longer durations, it is recommended to take it along for re-application. Re-application after every 2 hours is recommended.

The best part is that it is made up of natural ingredients and is paraben free and so, is safe to use. So, I would definitely recommend buying it.

Not So Good About MCaffeine Sea Fern Sunscreen

• Dry skin types need to use a moisturizer before applying it.
• If not used in adequate quantities, it will leave a white cast othe n face.
