NY Bae SkinFident Serum with Salicylic acid comes in a frosted glass bottle with a white coloured screw cap. The bottle is provided with a dropper that needs to be fixed by removing the cap which makes the application quite easy. The serum comes encased in a white cardboard box with all the product-related details mentioned on it. Overall, the packaging is leak-proof and is travel-friendly.

My Experience With NY Bae SkinFident Serum with Salicylic Acid

Keeping all the benefits of Salicylic acid in mind, I decided to go for this serum. The serum is transparent and has a runny & flowy consistency. It has a mild herbal fragrance that vanishes after some time. As per the usage directions, I apply the tiny dots of the NY Bae SkinFident Serum with Salicylic Acid on my clean face. While applying, the serum feels a little warm on the skin. It gets absorbed into the skin with a little massage and doesn’t leave behind any greasiness.

Now Comes The Main Part – My Experience

After 2-3 minutes of the application, I experienced severe itching on my face. I could see red patches all over my face and was experiencing a lot of irritation. Immediately, I washed my face and fortunately, Aloe Vera gel was there for my rescue. I applied a thick layer of the gel and it really helped in soothing down my irritated and inflamed skin. It took me 2-3 hours to get back to the normal condition. So, for me NY Bae SkinFident Serum with Salicylic Acid didn’t work at all and I will not be able to continue with its use.

However, I do believe that every skin type reacts in a different way to a particular product and the results do vary. So, it is not necessary that a product which didn’t work for me will not work for you as well. My point of sharing this experience with you is to make you aware of the fact that if you are having sensitive skin, make sure to go for the patch test before using this serum.
