The eye pencil is recently launched by purple and is available only at purple.com. It is available in 4 shades – Black, Blue, Azure and Super Brown. I have purchased Blue shade and here is its detailed review.

Packaging

Purplle Eyemigo Kohl Eye Pencil comes in a regular pencil form. The body of the eye pencil is black in colour and has black coloured cap that fits really well. The lower end of the pencil is made colour coordinated with the shade of the product so, you can easily identify the shade. The pencil comes in a cardboard box with all the necessary details mentioned. Overall, the packaging is quite sleek and is travel-friendly as well.

My Experience With Purplle Eyemigo Kohl Eye Pencil – Blue

It is a nice royal blue colour that can be worn during daytime as well as during night outs. The eye pencil offers good grip and so, it is easy to apply. Using this pencil, one can create different kinds of looks. However, I find eye pencils with retractable mechanism better than the pencil packaging because wooden pencils require sharpening again and again leading to a lot of product wastage. Moreover, Purplle Eyemigo Kohl Eye Pencil doesn’t come with a sharpener.

The pencil has a creamy, smooth texture and offers matte finish. It just glides over easily without any tugging. However, it doesn’t offer intense pigmentation and it has to be built by swiping it 2-3 times. The pencil doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.

The brand claims it to be smudge proof. Let’s see whether it is true or not. Let me tell you Purplle Eyemigo Kohl Eye Pencil is absolutely smudge-proof and water resistant. It will not bleed on coming in contact with water. But, if you have watery eyes and oily eyelids then on rubbing, it will definitely come off.

The pencil also claims to stay for up to 12 hours however, it stayed for 5+ hours on my waterline. On my eyelids, it stayed for quite long. In order to increase the longevity of the eye pencil, you can use an eye primer.

Overall, Purplle Eyemigo Kohl Eye Pencil is a decent eye pencil as it has creamy, smooth texture, glides without tugging, smudge-proof, water resistant and doesn’t irritate eyes.
