The brand Simple is UK based brand that offers skincare products specially designed for sensitive skin types. It is now available in India at nykaa.com. It is also known as UK’s No.1 Facial Skin Care Brand as mentioned on the moisturizer. This No.1 label induced me to try this out and so, I purchased it and here is its detailed review.

The moisturiser contains Pro-Vitamin B5 that helps in to soften, smooth and restore the skin. It also contains 3 skin-loving ingredients such as Bisabolol that helps in soothing and calming the skin, Glycerin which nourishes and hydrates the skin and Allantoin that helps to soften the skin.

Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser comes in a white coloured plastic bottle with a green coloured flip-open cap. It comes encased in a white coloured cardboard box that bears all the necessary product-details and also mentions the ‘Simple’ philosophy. Overall, the packaging is simple, nice and travel-friendly.

Colour, Consistency & Fragrance

The moisturizer is white in colour and has a medium consistency which is neither flowy nor thick like a cream. It gets absorbed easily into the skin with a little massage. The moisturiser doesn’t have any fragrance which is great relief for sensitive noses.

My Experience With Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser

The moisturizer gives a mild cool feeling to the skin on application. It spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed with a little massage. The name of the moisturizer suggests that it is a rich moisturizer however, it feels very light on the skin and offers a soft, velvety matte finish. The Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser is non-greasy and doesn’t leave behind any greasiness on the skin.

Now, my question is if this moisturiser feels this much light on the skin then, how light will be Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser? I have dry skin and on me the moisturizer stays for 2 hours and then I feel the need to re-apply it. However, on the application, the skin feels moisturized, soft and smooth instantly. So, the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser doesn’t fufill its claim of offering moisturisation for 12 hours.

The moisturizer also claims to be perfect for sensitive skin and it fulfills that claim completely. I have dry and sensitive skin and this lotion didn’t cause any breakouts and any sort of irritation on my skin. So, according to me, people with sensitive skin types can easily use this moisturiser. However, the moisturizer is not suitable for dry skin types at all and is apt for normal, oily and combination skin types.

Overall, Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser is a decent moisturizer as it is light, non-greasy and is perfect for normal, oily and sensitive skin types. So, if you want to purchase it for your dry skin thinking that it is a rich moisturizer then, this product is not for you.
