Colour And Pigmentation

As the name suggests, the kajal is black in colour. It is quite pigmented and therefore, only one stroke is enough to get a good colour pay off. However, to have a super intense dramatic kajal, you can build up this kajal by lining it over twice or thrice.

The kajal takes 1-2 minutes to settle down into a velvety matte finish so, in order to get a smoky eye effect, you can easily blend it over the entire eyelid.

Formula And Texture

The Sugar Kohl Of Honour Intense Kajal has a very soft and creamy texture. This is because of the wax-based ingredients present in it. So, I would recommend working with it using light hands so as to prevent the stick breakage. In addition, it glides smoothly on the waterline and the upper lash line as well. There is no pulling of the skin.

Staying power

The kajal has a long-lasting power. It lasted on me for 9-10 hours, however, it doesn’t live up to its claim of 12 hours. The kajal is not 100% smudge proof. It smudges a bit. However, it fulfills its claim of being water resistant. It doesn’t irritate my eyes. So, those who have sensitive eyes can easily use this kajal.

In order to remove this kajal, you would definitely require a cream or oil-based makeup remover. It will be difficult to remove it with just a face wash.
