Vaseline has recently launched this multipurpose cream which is meant to nourish dry skin. I have dry skin on my body so, I thought to try this cream and here is its detailed review. Vaseline MultiPurpose Dry Skin Repair Cream comes in a white coloured plastic tub. It is provided with a blue screw cap. There is no extra lid provided under the cap to prevent product-spillage. However, the consistency of the cream is such that it doesn’t come out of the tub thereby making it travel-friendly. The product-related details are mentioned on the tub itself.

My Experience With Vaseline MultiPurpose Dry Skin Repair Cream

The cream is white in colour and has a consistency similar to whipped cream. It has a very smooth and creamy texture. Though no fragrance is added into the cream which is a good point but still it has a fragrance very similar to what we get in bleach creams. Honestly, I didn’t like it however, the fragrance vanishes quickly so, it is a big relief for me.

The cream spreads easily on the skin and it needs a little massage to get absorbed into the skin. It instantly removes dryness of the skin but leaves an oily cast on the skin. The skin feels well moisturized, soft and plump for a long time as it helps in retaining moisture in the skin. I feel it is a perfect option for people with dry skin types, especially during winters.

As the name Vaseline MultiPurpose Dry Skin Repair Cream suggests, you can use this cream on your face and on your body as well. I have dry skin on my body so, I apply this cream on my body after taking shower. I also apply it on my hands, elbows, feet and knees before going to bed at night as these areas need a little more attention and repair. The cream effectively repairs the dry skin and keeps it moisturized for a long time. You can also use this cream after waxing to soothe down the irritated skin. Moreover, the cream is hypoallergenic and doesn’t give any sort of irritation to my sensitive skin.

Overall, I really liked this cream as it removes dryness from the skin, keeps it moisturized for long making it look soft, smooth and supple and is apt for people with dry skin types.
