According to the information that I collected about these two ingredients – Triethyleneglycol is a fragrance ingredient and a viscosity decreasing agent. It is considered safe. Phenoxyethanol is used as a natural replacement for paraben and is used as a preservative in skin care products.

Colour, Texture & Fragrance
The facewash is green in colour which is colour coded according to the ingredient present in it. The face wash is a gel-based product and has a consistency that is not too runny but is on the fluid side. It has a very refreshing citrusy fragrance.

My Experience With VLCC Ayurveda Double Power Double Neem Facewash
I took only a coin-sized amount of this face wash on my palm. On diluting it with water, it gave the required amount of lather and worked smoothly on my face. While applying, the face wash gave a cooling sensation that I really felt refreshed after spending a long hectic day outside. The cooling sensation stayed after rinsing off as well. I have combination skin and so, I prefer using neem face washes. This face wash really worked well for me. It cleansed my skin thoroughly and removed dirt and impurities from the skin. Post wash, my face was looking fresh and clean.

The facewash also removes excess oil from the skin and helps in keeping the skin oil free for good 3-4 hours. It doesn’t dry out my face but still, I feel that it will not be good for dry skin types. This face wash is also effective in keeping pimples at bay. As the face wash is made up of natural ingredients and is paraben free and soap free formulation, so, sensitive skin types can also use this face wash.
