My Experience With Wet n Wild Color Icon Lip Gloss – Fly Gal
Honestly, I am not a lip gloss person. I am a huge lover of lipsticks as I feel lip glosses don’t stay for long in comparison to the lipsticks. But, as Wet n Wild Color Icon Lip Gloss was a limited edition, I thought to give it a try. However, there were only two shades available and both were n*udes.
The shade Fly Gal that I purchased is a soft translucent somewhat milky pink shade. It has a fairly thick formula and has a light hydrating texture. The formula was comfortable on my lips without being too sticky with three-hour wear. It offers a nice shiny finish but doesn’t offer great pigmentation. If you have pigmented lips, it will not cover the pigmentation. Moreover, the shade will not suit medium and deeper skin tones. Fair skin tones can easily carry this shade. In addition, the lip gloss settles into my natural lip lines and looks patchy and uneven.
The shade didn’t suit my skin tone so, I am using it over my matte liquid lipstick. That is how I can doctor things up right!!
Overall, Wet n Wild Color Icon Lip Gloss is a nice, affordable, non-sticky lip gloss formula that you can definitely try. However, the shade Fly Gal will suit fair skin types rather than medium and deeper skin tones.
