Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain – See If I Carrot is a crayon form lip colour having a plastic colour coded body. It comes with a clear cap on it that closes with a click sound thus making sure that it will not open up on its own. It has a twistable bottom that moves the product up as you use it and so, there is no need of any sharpening. Some necessary product details are imprinted on the body of the stick. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.

My Experience With Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain – See If I Carrot

Shade

See If I Carrot shade is a bright orange shade and has a hint of coral-y colour to it. When I swatched it on my wrist, the colour showed pretty well however, when applied on the lips, it comes off as a coral colour. However, it can be built up to get a more orange tone.

Texture, Pigmentation & Fragrance

The balm stain has a super smooth texture. It glides easily on the lips and offers a soft and slightly slippery feel as you apply. It has a soft sheen and doesn’t have any shimmer or sparkles and offers sheer to medium pigmentation. The first application goes on sheerer however, 2-3 applications make the colour intense and more noticeable. The balm stain doesn’t have any fragrance so if you are sensitive that is likely a welcome relief.

Unique Property

The unique thing about Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain is that it gives a cooling sensation to the lips and the sensation stays for 5-10 minutes. However, it is not that cooling but is very subtle, refreshing and enjoyable.

Staying Power

The balm stain keeps my lips moisturized and hydrated and is comfortable through the entire wear. It stays for about 4 hours on my lips but it leaves a deep stain behind that lasts for about an hour thus making a total wear time of 5 hours. Even after the colour fades and becomes a stain, it doesn’t highlight the chapped lips and looks great.

The cooling effect of this Balm Stain partnered with the balmy and moisturizing feel makes it very comfortable to wear and has a decent staining ability which makes it a little long-wearing. Moreover, it is reasonably priced so, I would definitely recommend buying it.
