Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing NY Bae City Eyeland Eye Pencil Review.

I have got this pencil for free on making some purchase from purplle.com as an elite bonus. However, this brand is not new for me and I have already shared my reviews on a lot of NY Bae products so, you can check those posts. Recently, Shakti Mohan – A famous Dancer-choreographer and TV personality has launched her own cosmetic line in collaboration with NY Bae called NY Bae x Shakti. The range consists of bullet lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, nail lacquers and eyeliners and you check my review on all of these products. Now, let’s see how this eye pencil performed.

Packaging

NY Bae City Eyeland Eye Pencil is a black-coloured wooden pencil that comes wrapped in a transparent cover. The pencil is around 10-11 cm long and offers a good grip. The tip of the pencil is secured by a metallic silvery cap but it doesn’t hold the pencil properly so, it can open up on its own if kept in a purse or a bag. The pencil needs sharpening however, no sharpener is provided with it. Overall, the pencil is sleek but not travel-friendly.

My Experience With NY Bae City Eyeland Eye Pencil

I have the pencil in the shade black called the Black City however, it is not jet black in colour. The pencil doesn’t have a smooth and creamy texture and the application involves pulling/tugging. The eye pencil is not that pigmented so, you need to give multiple swipes to get the required colour. However, as I told you that it doesn’t glide smoothly so, I was not that comfortable in giving multiple swipes on my waterline and on eyelids as well. So, the pencil doesn’t fulfill its claims of being highly pigmented and offering smooth and one stroke application.

NY Bae City Eyeland Eye Pencil also claims to be smudge-proof however, it doesn’t fulfill this claim as well and smudges easily. One claim that it fulfills, it is water-resistant and doesn’t bleed on coming in contact with water. One more point that I would like to mention here is that it doesn’t irritate eyes. Now, whether it is long-lasting or not, I couldn’t check as I didn’t like it at all so, I had to replace it with other kajal or eye pencil.

Overall, I am not at all satisfied with NY Bae City Eyeland Eye Pencil as it doesn’t fulfill what it claims.
