Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Cream Review.
Alps Goodness has come up with a sandalwood infused skincare range recently. I have already shared my review on face wash and face scrub so, you can check these posts. In this post, I will be talking about the face cream. The use of Chandan or Sandalwood in the skincare regime dates back to thousand years not only in India but in other regions around the world as well. Sandalwood has anti-bacterial properties that can fight acne-causing bacteria and can reduce blemishes and acne scars. Moreover, it acts as a brightening agent and imparts glow and radiance to the skin. So, let’s see how this cream worked for me.

My Experience With Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Cream
The cream appears peachy-white in colour and has a light consistency. Similar to other products of this range, this cream also has a strong artificial fragrance that I didn’t like at all and it can bother sensitive noses. As the range is infused with Sandalwood, I was expecting a nice sandalwood fragrance but it is not the case.
The cream spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed quickly with a little massage. Once fully absorbed, it doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue and offers a shine-free, matte finish. I have combination skin and this cream helps to keep my skin shine-free as it controls oil production. So, people with normal, combination and oily-skin types can easily use this cream. However, it may not be suitable for people with dry skin types as it will not be able to offer the required moisturisation.
Now, the cream claims to brighten the complexion and it does help in making the skin look fresh and bright without making it greasy. It also contains lemon, vitamin E, niacinamide and aloe vera that offer some amazing benefits to the skin. To know these benefits in detail, make sure to go through the following articles:

As far as the cream’s claim of soothing acne is concerned, I cannot comment on that as these days my skin is behaving really well and I don’t have acne on my face at present.
Overall, Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Cream is a decent cream for people with normal, combination and oily skin types as it helps in controlling oil, offers shine-free, fresh and bright skin. However, it doesn’t come with SPF so, make sure to pair it up with sunscreen before stepping out in the sun.
Not So Good About Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Cream
- Strong, artificial fragrance that really bothers
- Not suitable for dry skin types
- Doesn’t come with SPF
My Rating – 3.5/5
